Responsibility
- Officiate competitive matches with impartiality, manage start/stop times, and enforce game rules in real time.
- Communicate clearly with players, coaches, and other officials to maintain game discipline and safety.
- Make swift, well-reasoned decisions and log incidents for post-match review.
- Provide pre-match briefings, field checks, and accurate match reports for league records.
- Ensure player safety by enforcing equipment and conduct standards.
- Collaborate with assigned referees to maintain consistent officiating across fixtures.
- Engage in ongoing development through league-led training and assessment sessions.
Qualification
- Current refereeing certification from a recognized body (FA badge or equivalent).
- Proven officiating experience at amateur or youth levels with strong rule knowledge.
- Excellent decision-making, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Physical fitness to run and position effectively for full match duration.
- Ability to remain neutral, calm under pressure, and adapt to dynamic game situations.
- Availability on weekends and occasional evenings; reliable transportation preferred.
- Safeguarding or criminal records check as required by the league.
