As a key member of our officiating team, you will apply the rules consistently, communicate decisions clearly, and support players, coaches, and match administrators to ensure safe, competitive, and enjoyable games for all participants.
Responsibility
- Officiate assigned matches in accordance with league rules, ensuring fair play and player safety.
- Make timely, decisive calls with clear and respectful communication to players, coaches, and managers.
- Manage on-field incidents, disputes, and disciplinary actions per governing guidelines.
- Maintain accurate match reports and incident notes post-game.
- Collaborate with fellow officials and league staff to ensure consistent officiating standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through training and certifications.
Qualification
- Current refereeing certification relevant to the sport (e.g., FA Referee Badge, FIBA officiating, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years officiating experience at youth or amateur adult levels.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
- Physical fitness to perform on-field responsibilities and whistle use during full-length matches.
- Ability to remain impartial and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
- Availability for weekend and evening fixtures; able to travel within London as needed.
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols and standard anti-discrimination practices.
