As an RN, you will deliver high-quality patient care across units, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff, and uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.
What you’ll do includes direct patient care, accurate assessment, medication administration per orders, and collaboration with the care team to develop individualized care plans.
Responsibility
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care across assigned units
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document in the EHR
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nurses to implement care plans
- Assist with IV therapy, wound care, and routine procedures
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
- Ensure safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
- Participate in discharge planning and care coordination
Qualification
- Current RN license in Massachusetts or eligibility to practice
- BSN preferred; ADN accepted with commitment to continuing education
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (adult med-surg or related specialties)
- BLS certification; ACLS may be required depending on unit
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and medication administration
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and flexible shifts
