As an RN at our center, you will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate effective patient care, document accurately in our electronic health record, and advocate for patient safety and comfort from admission to discharge.
Responsibility
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs, assessments, and symptom management.
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Collaborate with care teams to develop and update patient care plans.
- Document interventions and patient responses in the EHR with precision.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and post-hospital care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold infection control standards.
- Respond to emergencies with poise and dependability, supporting rapid decision-making.
- Mentor new staff and students, promoting a culture of learning and excellence.
Qualification
- Current RN license in good standing in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure by compact via the MA Board of Registration.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN candidates considered with strong clinical experience.
- Minimum 2 years of acute care or medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; patient-centered approach.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification as applicable to unit requirements.
