Responsibility
- Provide direct patient care for a diverse inpatient population, implementing individualized care plans.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions, ensuring safe medication practices.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes.
- Develop and update nursing care plans, set goals, and evaluate progress with the care team.
- Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures as trained.
- Educate patients and families on condition management, discharge planning, and follow-up.
Qualification
- Current CA Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN with strong experience considered.
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS recommended.
- Proven clinical judgment, critical thinking, and high attention to safety and quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and standard nursing software.
