As an RN, you will assess patients, administer medications, coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and educate patients and families to promote recovery and well-being. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, strong communication, and a patient-first attitude.
Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team
- Monitor patient status, vital signs, and response to treatment
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and case managers
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and self-care
- Ensure accurate charting, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement participation
Qualification
- Current RN license valid in Texas (or multi-state license via Compact)
- BSN preferred; ADN accepted with commitment to obtain BSN within specified timeframe
- 1-3 years of acute care or medical-surgical experience
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and clinical judgment
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
- Patient-centered approach with strong bedside manner
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and clinical documentation
