Responsibility
- You will provide direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient status and needs.
- You will administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocol.
- You will develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team.
- You will coordinate patient transitions, discharge planning, and family education to ensure safe, effective outcomes.
- You will respond to emergencies with rapid assessment and appropriate escalation.
- You will maintain accurate and compliant documentation in the EMR and ensure adherence to patient safety standards.
Qualification
- Current RN license in California and BRN registration.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN with commitment to earn BSN may be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in acute care or critical care settings.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and strong documentation skills.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
