Responsibility

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, monitoring, and documentation of vitals, symptoms, and medical history.

  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the care team.
  • Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges while ensuring patient safety and smooth transitions.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards).

Qualification

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or eligibility for licensure by endorsement.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing accepted with strong clinical experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care, med-surg, or family practice nursing experience.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation; strong computer literacy.
