Responsibility

  • Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
  • Monitor patient conditions, deliver medications and treatments, and document in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
  • Administer IV therapies, wound care, pain management, and preventive health measures.
  • Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to regulatory standards (HIPAA, OSHA, Joint Commission).
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Qualification

  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license or an active compact state license
  • BSN or higher preferred; ADN accepted with commitment to continued education
  • 1-3 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS certification preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and standard nursing software
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
