Bayview Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our inpatient care team in San Francisco. Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor responses, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient status, document findings, and update care plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Respond to clinical changes with timely interventions and escalate when appropriate.
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
Qualification
- Current RN license in California or eligible for licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred or equivalent clinical experience
- Minimum 1 year of acute care or medical-surgical nursing experience
- Basic Life Support BLS certification; ACLS commitment preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
