As an RN, you will be responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and advocating for patients and families throughout the care journey. Responsibility
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in patient status.
- Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure safe and timely care.
- Document all assessments and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatments, and discharge planning.
- Maintain infection control standards and participate in unit quality improvement initiatives.
- Respond to code blue incidents and participate in ongoing simulation-based training.
Qualification
- Current California RN license in good standing
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care or inpatient nursing experience
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
- BSN degree preferred; ADN considered with substantial experience
