Responsibility

  • Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to patients in assigned unit in alignment with care plans
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and promptly report changes
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care teams to coordinate comprehensive care
  • Document accurately in the electronic health record and ensure patient privacy and safety
  • Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold infection control and safety protocols
  • Demonstrate leadership and mentor newer staff as needed

Qualification

  • Current RN license in Washington state or eligibility to obtain one
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred
  • BLS certification; ACLS for appropriate units
  • BSN degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with diverse teams
  • Proficiency with electronic health records such as Epic or Cerner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to shift work
