Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Lead and participate in care planning to support evidence-based treatment.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses, with strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor vital signs, manage tubes and lines, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to coordinate care.
- Provide patient and family education on medications, procedures, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain meticulous documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualification
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in California (California BRN).
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care or hospital-based nursing experience.
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- Excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and patient-centered care abilities.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
- BSN degree preferred; ongoing professional development supported.
