Responsibility
- Provide direct, evidence-based patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation.
- Administer medications and perform IV therapy following hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes with timely intervention.
- Collaborate with physicians, RRTs, case managers, and support staff to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and self-care.
- Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in staff training, rounds, and performance improvement projects.
Qualification
- Current RN license in the state of Washington (WA).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN with 2+ years of acute care experience acceptable.
- Active BLS certification; ACLS within 6-12 months of hire.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; patient- and family-centered approach.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and hospital information systems.
