Responsibility
- Provide direct patient care with accurate assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, ensuring patient safety.
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and respond promptly to deteriorations.
- Document all care activities in the electronic health record with attention to detail and compliance.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions to support continuity of care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate tests, procedures, and care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety rounds, and policy development.
Qualification
- Active RN license in Washington State or eligibility for licensure
- BSN preferred; associate degree acceptable with strong clinical experience
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Proficient in electronic health records and documentation
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends
