Responsibility
- Provide direct patient care, administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Monitor and report patient status, respond to changes, and escalate as needed.
- Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the patient and family.
- Administer assessments, document in EHR, ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions.
- Maintain infection control and safety standards; manage IV therapy and wound care as indicated.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and shift handoffs.
Qualification
- Active RN license in Washington state.
- BSN preferred; 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience, hospital setting preferred.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EMR) and healthcare technology.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Compassionate patient advocate with excellent bedside manner.
