Job description
NovaBio Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join our Cambridge, MA based biology team. This role focuses on advancing immunology and cell biology programs through rigorous experimentation, collaborative teamwork, and meticulous data analysis. You will work across translational research projects, contribute to study design, execute sophisticated laboratory techniques, and communicate findings to cross functional teams.

Responsibility
- Design and execute experiments in cellular and molecular biology to support immunology programs.
- Plan and perform cell culture, flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, and related assays.
- Analyze data using statistical tools, generate reports, and help interpret results for project teams.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including medicinal chemistry, bioinformatics, and clinical operations.
- Develop and optimize experimental protocols and SOPs; ensure lab safety and compliance.
- Contribute to manuscript preparation, posters, and internal presentations.
- Troubleshoot experimental and instrument issues; manage project timelines and milestones.
Qualification
- MS or PhD in biology, biochemistry, immunology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and immunology assays.
- Proficiency with flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, and data analysis in R or Python.
- Strong experimental design, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; demonstrated ability to work in cross functional teams.
- Experience with SOP development and adherence; knowledge of GLP/GMP is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
