Responsibility
- Lead all aspects of stage management for mainstage and special performance productions.
- Coordinate rehearsals, performances, and technical run-throughs with cast and crew.
- Maintain detailed prompt books, cue sheets, and show reports for consistency and accuracy.
- Enforce safety protocols and industry best practices backstage at all times.
- Collaborate closely with directors, designers, and production teams to achieve creative vision.
- Manage schedules, resolve conflicts, and communicate critical information across departments.
- Mentor and supervise assistant stage managers and production interns.
- Facilitate seamless artist and crew transitions during live performances.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, Stage Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ professional experience as a stage manager in a theatrical setting.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale productions and multiple priorities.
- Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience with scheduling software and digital stage management tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Deep knowledge of staging logistics and union regulations a plus.
