Join Aurora Retail Group as a Retail Operations Manager in New York, NY. Lead a high-performing team across flagship and boutique stores, delivering an outstanding customer experience while optimizing profitability and efficiency.
You will partner with merchandising, marketing, and finance to execute strategic initiatives, elevate service standards, and ensure flawless store operations across channels.
Responsibility
- Lead daily store operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency in service, merchandising, and loss prevention.
- Drive sales performance by analyzing KPIs, coaching associates, and optimizing staffing and scheduling.
- Oversee inventory management, shrink reduction, receiving, and stock replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls while maintaining a focus on profitability.
- Coach, develop, and performance-manage store leadership and front-line teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Collaborate with merchandising and marketing to execute compelling in-store and online campaigns.
- Implement loss prevention programs and ensure compliance with policies, safety, and standards.
- Analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform operational improvements and new initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in business, retail management, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years in retail operations or store management with a track record of improving sales and efficiency.
- Proven leadership and coaching skills with ability to develop high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; proficient in analyzing sales data and KPIs.
- Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and basic Excel/data tools; familiarity with ERP is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
- Willingness to travel between locations and work flexible hours as needed.
