Momentum Retail Group is seeking a results-driven Retail Store Manager to lead a flagship store in New York City. This role blends strategic sales growth with a passion for guest experiences, merchandising excellence, and team development.
As Store Manager, you will oversee daily operations, coach a diverse team, and partner with regional leadership to execute promotions and initiatives that elevate brand presence and profitability.
Your leadership will be critical in delivering exceptional guest service, optimizing inventory, and ensuring a clean, organized, and visually compelling store environment.
Responsibility
- Manage daily store operations and drive top-line sales while delivering an exceptional guest experience.
- Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team; schedule shifts and set clear performance expectations.
- Analyze sales metrics, set targets, and implement action plans to achieve goals.
- Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards and tidy, inviting store presentation.
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, shrink reduction, and loss prevention.
- Coordinate with regional teams on promotions, events, and new product launches.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and brand guidelines.
Qualification
- 3+ years of retail store management experience, preferably in fashion or consumer goods.
- Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets and delivering outstanding guest service.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills; ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Proficiency with POS systems, retail software, and basic inventory management.
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and a hands-on approach.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and peak holiday periods.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
