Responsibility
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate day-to-day field operations for road construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project or Primavera; track milestones and critical paths.
- Lead subcontractor coordination, QA/QC, and material procurement to meet project specifications.
- Monitor on-site safety programs, conduct regular site inspections, and enforce OSHA compliance.
- Review drawings, specifications, and change orders; communicate impacts to stakeholders and manage scope changes.
- Manage project budget, cost control, and progress reporting; prepare periodic owner and management updates.
- Coordinate traffic management plans, public notices, and utility coordination for safe, efficient closures and deliveries.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent field experience).
- Minimum 5 years of road construction or heavy civil experience on highway/street projects.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA 30+, fall protection) and on-site safety leadership.
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and design tools (AutoCAD or Civil 3D).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills; ability to manage field teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license; willingness to travel to project sites as needed; reliable transportation.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and survey data; problem-solving and analytical thinking.
