Responsibility
- Lead and coordinate daily field operations on road construction and paving projects.
- Supervise crews, assign tasks, and monitor productivity to meet milestones.
- Enforce safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Review blueprints and specifications; communicate changes to team and subcontractors.
- Oversee material handling, equipment usage, and quality control during paving and grading.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to solve issues and maintain project schedules.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, daily reports, and safety records.
- Manage subcontractor coordination and on-site inspections for inspections and permit compliance.
Qualification
- 5+ years of road construction supervision or foreman experience on municipal or highway projects.
- Proven leadership with ability to manage multiple crews and shift schedules.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt paving, grading, drainage, and earthworks.
- OSHA 10/30 certification and commitment to safety.
- Experience with reading blueprints, specs, and surveying data.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Valid driver's license; willingness to travel to job sites within the region.
