TerraRoad Constructors is seeking a proactive Road Construction Project Engineer to join our Dallas office. You will oversee civil works, coordinate contractors, ensure safety and quality, and drive projects from inception to closeout.

Responsibility
- Lead daily on-site coordination with contractors, inspectors, and utility providers to ensure work progresses safely and on schedule.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans using industry-standard software.
- Review plans, specifications, and change orders; ensure compliance with applicable codes and quality standards.
- Oversee site safety programs, conduct regular safety meetings, and enforce OSHA guidelines (OSHA 30 preferred).
- Manage field operations, track progress, and report milestones to stakeholders and clients.
- Coordinate with surveyors, inspectors, and public agencies to maintain permits and approvals.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of road construction, highway, or infrastructure project experience.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, quality control, and construction best practices.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical specs; experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control; familiarity with ERP or project management software.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
