Job description
TerraLine Infrastructure is seeking a seasoned Road Construction Project Manager to lead major roadway projects in the Phoenix metro area. This role combines strategic planning, field leadership, and client communication to deliver safe, on-budget, on-time roadways.
As a key member of our construction leadership team, you will manage multi-disciplinary crews, coordinate with government agencies, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibility
- Lead planning and execution of road construction projects from pre-construction through close-out.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and procurement.
- Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, inspectors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety programs, regulations, and quality standards.
- Track progress, perform risk management, and implement mitigations.
- Manage site logistics, traffic control coordination, and public communication.
- Review drawings and specifications; approve change orders and RFI responses.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and conduct daily site walks.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of road construction/project management experience.
- Proven track record delivering highways, streets, or urban road projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, DOT) and quality systems.
- Proficient in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and BIM awareness.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead diverse teams.
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel to project sites as needed.
