We are seeking an experienced Road Construction Project Manager to oversee complex highway and arterial road projects from planning through completion. You will coordinate field operations, manage subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, and drive project success on time and within budget.

Responsibility
- Lead project planning, sequencing, and resource allocation to meet aggressive schedules.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and engineers to ensure safe, compliant field operations.
- Manage budgets, cost forecasting, change orders, and procurement to maximize value.
- Oversee quality assurance and safety programs to uphold company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans, perform risk assessments, and conduct regular safety briefings.
- Monitor progress, prepare progress reports, and communicate milestones to stakeholders.
- Resolve on-site issues, coordinate inspections, and ensure timely permit approvals.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and productivity.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of road construction project management experience with large-scale programs.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and industry standards (AASHTO, OSHA, DOT).
- Proven leadership and team-building skills with ability to manage diverse crews.
- Excellent budgeting, scheduling, and procurement acumen.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency with project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore) and CAD tools.
- Licenses or certifications such as PMP or CCM are a plus.
