Join TerraBuild Constructors, a leader in modern road construction projects across the Southwest. We are seeking a results-driven Road Construction Project Manager to lead on-site teams, coordinate with engineers, and deliver safe, high-quality roadways on schedule and within budget.
As part of our field leadership, you will oversee all phases of road projects from mobilization to closeout, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibility
- Lead daily on-site operations for road construction projects, coordinating crews and equipment to maximize productivity.
- Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and critical path activities to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain strict safety standards, enforce compliance with OSHA and company policies, and drive a culture of safe work practices.
- Coordinate with design engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors to resolve field issues promptly.
- Monitor quality control, test results, and documentation for adherence to specifications and permits.
- Track costs, manage budgets, and report variances to stakeholders with clarity and transparency.
- Prepare progress reports, procure materials, and manage change orders efficiently.
- Mentor and supervise site supervisors and foremen, building a capable and cohesive field team.
Qualification
- Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive road construction experience with on-site leadership roles.
- Proven track record delivering municipal/hwy road projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations (OSHA 30+).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management software and data-driven decision making (MS Project, Primavera, BIM/CAD familiarity).
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and permits; adept at coordinating with inspectors and authorities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites within the region and work non-standard hours as required.
