Responsibility
- Lead and manage road construction projects from kickoff to close, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to drive project success.
- Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, and cost controls using Primavera P6 and Procore.
- Manage on-site crews, equipment, quality control, and daily field operations.
- Enforce comprehensive safety programs, conduct regular jobsite inspections, and ensure compliance with DOT and local regulations.
- Prepare progress reports, change orders, and risk mitigation plans for stakeholders.
- Monitor environmental, traffic management, and community relations considerations throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of road or highway construction experience with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
- Professional certification such as PMP or CCM is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt, concrete paving, drainage, earthworks, and road wayfinding standards.
- Proficiency with project management software (Primavera P6, Procore) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
- Commitment to safety with knowledge of OSHA guidelines and DOT regulations.
