Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end road construction projects ensuring schedule, budget, safety, and quality.
- Coordinate with municipalities, engineers, surveyors, and subcontractors to align on scope and timelines.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, cost estimates, and risk registers.
- Oversee on-site activities, daily logs, QA/QC, and material testing.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Monitor performance using dashboards, KPI tracking, and progress reporting to stakeholders.
- Review change orders, manage contracts, and optimize resource allocation.
- Lead team development, site meetings, and client communications to ensure satisfaction and timely delivery.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
- 5+ years of road or highway construction project management experience
- Strong knowledge of earthwork, drainage, asphalt paving, and road resurfacing methods
- Proficiency with project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project and CAD tools
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and regulatory requirements
- OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety certifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and budgets while delivering on time
