TexWest Infrastructure is seeking a skilled Road Construction Project Manager to lead high impact highway and roadway projects in the Austin metro area. This full-time role blends strategic planning with hands on site leadership to deliver safe, on time, and on budget projects.
As a primary owner of project execution, you will coordinate with designers, subcontractors, inspectors, and local authorities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Responsibility
- Lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management for road construction projects.
- Conduct site walks, supervise crews, and ensure work aligns with plans and specs.
- Manage subcontractor coordination, permits, traffic control, and public safety measures.
- Monitor quality control programs, environmental compliance, and safety performance.
- Communicate progress to stakeholders and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Resolve field challenges, change orders, and scope adjustments with the PMO.
- Interface with city/state inspectors and ensure timely permit approvals and inspections.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in road or highway construction with demonstrated project leadership.
- Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and crews on large scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of CAD/ BIM, and field layout, and plan reading.
- Deep understanding of safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and traffic control protocols.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Active driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
