What you’ll do: oversee daily field operations, coordinate crews and equipment, enforce safety protocols, monitor progress against schedule, manage subcontractor performance, review blueprints and specifications, report project status to leadership, and drive continuous improvement on-site.

Responsibility
- Lead and supervise road construction crews, equipment operators, and subcontractors on active sites.
- Plan daily work activities, allocate resources, and adjust schedules to meet milestones.
- Enforce strict safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain compliance with OSHA standards.
- Monitor quality control, review drawings/specifications, and ensure workmanship meets project requirements.
- Manage on-site QA/QC documentation, daily reports, and change orders with accurate data.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to resolve field issues promptly.
- Keep sites organized, secure permits, and ensure proper environmental practices.
- Mentor junior staff and provide performance feedback to improve productivity and safety.
Qualification
- 5+ years of road construction or heavy civil experience in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to manage field crews, equipment, and subcontractors on multi-million-dollar projects.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt paving, grading, drainage, and road alignment.
- Certified in OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety training; willingness to pursue higher-level certifications.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, specs, and civil drawings; proficiency with project management software.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license; reliable transportation to multiple project sites.
- Commitment to quality and safety with a proactive, collaborative approach.
