Responsibility

  • Lead and supervise road construction crews, equipment operators, and subcontractors on active sites.
  • Plan daily work activities, allocate resources, and adjust schedules to meet milestones.
  • Enforce strict safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Monitor quality control, review drawings/specifications, and ensure workmanship meets project requirements.

Qualification

  • 5+ years of road construction or heavy civil experience in a supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to manage field crews, equipment, and subcontractors on multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of asphalt paving, grading, drainage, and road alignment.
  • Certified in OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety training; willingness to pursue higher-level certifications.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, specs, and civil drawings; proficiency with project management software.
