Atlas Road & Civil LLC is seeking an experienced Road Construction Supervisor to oversee highway and street projects in the Houston, TX area. This role combines hands-on site leadership with strategic project oversight to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Responsibility
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily field operations on road construction sites, ensuring work aligns with plans, specs, and schedule.
- Manage subcontractors, material deliveries, equipment, and safety protocols to minimize risk and downtime.
- Monitor quality control, inspect work in progress, and ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
- Enforce safety policies, conduct toolbox talks, and lead incident investigations.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, progress photos, and change order documentation; communicate status to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to resolve field issues and timely decisions.
- Manage crew assignments, productivity, and on-site training to develop skill sets.
- Ensure environmental controls and traffic management plans are implemented.
Qualification
- 5+ years of road construction or highway paving experience; track record in a supervisor or foreman role.
- Proven experience with earthworks, asphalt paving, concrete, drainage, and traffic control plans.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, schedules, and specifications; proficient with MS Office and construction software.
- Valid driver's license; OSHA 10/30 certification; strong safety-first mindset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to manage diverse crews.
- Knowledge of local regulations, permits, environmental guidelines, and quality standards.
- Ability to work in Houston climate and travel to multiple job sites as needed.
