Join a dynamic project team as a Safety Officer, responsible for ensuring site safety compliance across our construction operations. As a Private Advertiser partner, you will lead proactive safety management on site in North Caloocan, Metro Manila, driving risk assessment, incident prevention, and safe work practices. This role requires a practical, hands-on safety professional who can translate safety regulations into actionable on-site procedures.
Your daily duties include conducting regular site inspections, reviewing and implementing safety protocols, coordinating toolbox talks, and ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment. You will investigate incidents and near misses, document findings, and work with site leaders to close corrective actions. You will also maintain up-to-date safety records, prepare safety reports, and support training initiatives to raise safety awareness among workers and subcontractors. A strong communicator, you will liaise with project management, site supervisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with local laws and industry standards.

Responsibility
- Conduct regular on-site safety inspections and hazard assessments across all sites
- Develop, implement, and monitor site safety programs and procedures
- Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings for all workers
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare detailed reports and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards; coordinate with authorities as needed
- Manage personal protective equipment inventory and enforce proper use
- Provide safety training and coaching to workers and subcontractors
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in safety, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of construction site safety experience
- Valid safety officer certification and practical knowledge of safety regulations
- Strong knowledge of Philippine safety laws and OSHA/OSHAS guidelines
- Excellent communication, reporting, and training skills
- Ability to read construction drawings and perform risk assessments
- Willingness to work on-site in North Caloocan and respond to emergencies
