Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya invites you to join as the Sales Area Coordinator Modern Trade for Samarinda. In this key FMCG role, you will drive sales growth across modern trade channels, build strong partnerships with retailer partners, and ensure our products achieve optimal visibility and availability in stores. You will work closely with the sales team and cross functional partners to execute effective account plans, promotions, and merchandising strategies that resonate with shoppers and retailers alike.

As a hands-on leader in the field, you will develop and manage territory plans, monitor performance against targets, analyze sales data, and share actionable insights with regional management. Your daily activities will include coordinating with distributors, planning route coverage, scheduling visits to key accounts, and ensuring timely delivery and stock availability. You will coach junior team members, uphold Garudafoods standards, and uphold ethical trade practices while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibility

  • Develop and execute sales plans for Modern Trade accounts in Samarinda and nearby areas to meet targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, account managers, and channel partners.
  • Monitor promotions, in-store merchandising, and product visibility; coordinate with marketing and supply chain to maximize stock and display.
  • Analyze sales data, track KPIs, and prepare periodic reports for regional management.
  • Plan and optimize field route coverage; schedule visits to top accounts and ensure effective call coverage.
  • Coordinate with distributors to ensure timely deliveries, stock availability, and issue resolution.
  • Coach and supervise merchandisers and junior sales staff in the area; ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Implement and monitor trade promotions; evaluate return on investment and adjust plans accordingly.

Qualification

  • Minimum 1 year experience as Sales Supervisor or similar role in FMCG or consumer goods.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Target-driven with the ability to analyze data and translate insights into action.
  • Willingness to travel within Samarinda and surrounding districts; valid driver’s license is a plus.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Fluent Indonesian; English is a plus.
