We are seeking a motivated Sales Canvassing professional to join Toko Gayathri Dupa Wangi in Bali. This full-time, field-based role focuses on promoting and selling our Dupa incense to local shops, stalls, and warungs. You will drive new business, nurture retailer relationships, and help partners maximize product visibility and sales. The role requires travel across Bali, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a customer-first mindset. You will represent our brand with integrity, deliver product knowledge sessions, handle basic merchandising, and support retailers with stock management, promotions, and point-of-sale materials. You will collaborate with store owners, managers, and distributors to understand market needs, analyze competitive activity, and implement targeted promotional programs. You will plan and execute regular store visits, schedule product samplings, and assist retailers with inventory forecasting to prevent stockouts. This position offers hands-on experience in retail sales, brand merchandising, and trade marketing while developing valuable skills in data collection, reporting, and relationship management. Responsibility
- Visit assigned retailers across Bali to present and promote Dupa incense
- Build and maintain relationships with toko, lapak, warung, and other local sellers
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and pricing, and upsell where appropriate
- Support retailers with stock management, shelf placement, and promotional displays
- Track sales, collect feedback, and report market insights to leadership
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and activity metrics
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery and consistent product availability
- Capture new business opportunities and expand the retailer network
Qualification
- Minimum 1 year of field sales or canvassing experience, preferably in retail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Indonesian and English
- Proven ability to build relationships with small retailers
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Bali
- Basic numerical/Excel skills to track sales and inventory
- Positive attitude, resilient, and goal-oriented
- Local knowledge of Bali's retail landscape is a plus
