Join BukuWarung, a leading fintech platform empowering small businesses across Indonesia. We are seeking an experienced Sales Canvassing professional (Merchant Success Executive) or Sales TO EDC to join our expanding team in Sumbawa Besar. This role focuses on acquiring new merchants, promoting BukuWarung payment solutions, and driving adoption of EDC devices.

Your responsibilities include field sales, on-site demonstrations, and tailored solution selling to retailers, cafes, and small merchants. You will work to onboard merchants onto the BukuWarung ecosystem, provide training, and ensure ongoing usage and satisfaction. You will collaborate with the Merchant Success and Operations teams to resolve issues, optimize merchant performance, and report progress against targets. A successful candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and able to communicate complex fintech concepts in simple terms. You will contribute to territory planning, build lasting relationships with merchants, and help merchants grow their business through digital payments and efficient checkout processes.

Responsibility

  • Acquire new merchants and expand BukuWarung's merchant network in the Sumbawa Besar area.
  • Present and demonstrate BukuWarung payment solutions and EDC devices to merchants.
  • Onboard merchants onto the BukuWarung platform, configure accounts, and ensure successful activation.
  • Train merchants and their staff on using BukuWarung tools and processes.
  • Manage a portfolio of merchants, monitor performance, and drive growth in transaction volume.
  • Collaborate with Merchant Success, Operations, and Sales teams to resolve issues and optimize merchant experience.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, and provide regular progress updates and forecasts.

Qualification

  • Proven field sales experience in retail, fintech, or payments.
  • Experience with merchant onboarding and EDC devices is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with merchants.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a field role.
  • Willingness to travel within Sumbawa Besar and surrounding NTB area.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; local language skills advantageous.
