Swatch Group is seeking a passionate Sales Consultant to join our premium retail network in Petaling Jaya. In this role you will be the face of Swatch Group stores, delivering memorable customer experiences and guiding clients through the latest collections of luxury watches and accessories. You will combine deep product knowledge, brand storytelling, and a service mindset to understand customer needs, recommend appropriate timepieces, and close sales in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, well presented, and thrives on building relationships with clients who value craftsmanship, design, and precision.

Key responsibilities include delivering personalized service, maintaining impeccable in-store presentation, and staying up to date with product line updates. You will engage customers across a range of touchpoints, from spontaneous walk-ins to high-value appointments, and turn inquiries into confident purchasing decisions. By leveraging our training and resources, you will educate customers about movement types, materials, and warranty programs, while ensuring accurate transactions and seamless aftersales support.

In addition to sales responsibilities, you will assist with inventory control, visual merchandising, and store cleanliness to reflect the luxury image of Swatch Group. You will collaborate with colleagues to execute merchandising plans, prepare product launches, and support marketing initiatives such as VIP events and loyalty programs. The role requires a positive attitude, resilience, and a commitment to delivering excellence in every customer interaction.

Responsibility

  • Greet customers with warmth, qualify needs, and provide product recommendations from Swatch Group collections.
  • Demonstrate watch features, craftsmanship, and brand heritage; articulate value and offer suitable upsell opportunities.
  • Process transactions accurately using the POS system; manage cash handling and daily reconciliation.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, stock levels, and showroom cleanliness to reflect luxury brand image.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients, maintain a client database, and follow up on aftersales services and events.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets through proactive selling and effective time management.
  • Collaborate with team members to support store initiatives, training, and product launches.

Qualification

  • 2+ years of experience in luxury retail or high-end consumer goods, preferably in watch or jewelry segments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English; Malay and other languages are a plus.
  • Passion for watches, trends, and customer experience; ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing product lines.
  • Strong numeracy and cash handling skills; comfortable operating POS systems.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays; strong team player.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
