As a Sales Engineer, you will bridge customer needs with our product offerings, conducting discovery, crafting compelling proposals, and supporting customers from first contact through implementation. You will work closely with project engineers, project managers, and product specialists to ensure successful deployments, high customer satisfaction, and long term partnerships. What you'll do includes developing account plans, leading technical presentations, responding to inquiries, preparing technical proposals, and assisting with contract negotiations. Responsibility
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities in targeted industries that require automation and control systems.
- Conduct needs analysis, gather technical requirements, and translate them into tailored solution proposals.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations to customers and partners.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to develop technical proposals, cost estimates, and implementation plans.
- Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to contract close, including negotiations and proposal writing.
- Build and maintain long term relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer success and renewal.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and regulatory standards to inform strategy and messaging.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation or a related field.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in industrial automation or control systems.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex control systems and translate customer needs into effective solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; fluent in English and Indonesian.
- Experience with CRM software and sales tools; ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel within Jakarta and to regional markets as needed.
