Reeracoen Recruitment is partnering with a leading Japanese manufacturing firm to recruit a proactive Sales Engineer for the Equipment Sales team in the LED/LCD segment. This role is based in Tuas, Singapore and reports to the Section Manager of the Precision Machinery Division. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, translating complex technical needs into compelling equipment solutions that optimize performance and yield.

Responsibility

  • Develop and manage end-to-end sales cycles for LED/LCD precision machinery equipment.
  • Identify opportunities, qualify customers, and build a robust sales funnel to achieve quarterly targets.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design tailored equipment solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotes, and ROI analyses; present compelling business cases to clients.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, site surveys, and customer training sessions to drive confidence and adoption.
  • Coordinate installation, commissioning, and after-sales support with service teams to ensure project success.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecast revenue, and monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Travel regionally as needed to meet customers and participate in industry events.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in capital equipment or precision machinery, preferably in LED/LCD or related manufacturing segments.
  • Strong technical aptitude to understand complex equipment and translate customer needs into effective solutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing deals with corporate clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to deliver engaging product demonstrations.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills; ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and service teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office; willingness to travel regionally.
  • Japanese language skills are a plus; willingness to learn and adapt in a Japanese manufacturing environment.
