As a Pumps Sales Engineer, you will act as the technical ambassador for our product portfolio, translating complex specifications into practical solutions. You will engage with manufacturers, chemical, oil and gas, power, and other industrial sectors to understand site conditions, evaluate pump curves, and design customized pumping systems. You will manage the end-to-end sales process from initial contact through proposal, quotation, and delivery, while ensuring exceptional after-sales support and service coordination. Responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across industries to identify pumping needs and opportunities.
- Analyze site conditions, read technical drawings and pump curves, and specify appropriate pump systems.
- Present technical proposals and ROI-driven business cases to customers and stakeholders.
- Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and commercial terms in collaboration with internal teams.
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure on-time delivery and commissioning support.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, including post-sale support and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and new technologies to inform product selection and positioning.
- Achieve and contribute to quarterly and annual sales targets for the pumps segment.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 1+ year of sales or application engineering experience in industrial pumps or fluid handling equipment.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read schematics, pump curves, and performance data.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English.
- Customer-focused with problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements and site visits as needed.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and proposal management tools.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
