Capella Ubud, a luxury wilderness-inspired resort blending nature with contemporary design, invites a skilled Sales Executive to join our passionate team. Based in Ubud, Bali, you will be the frontline driver of revenue and guest experiences, building lasting relationships with luxury travelers, travel partners, and corporate clients. You will represent Capella Ubud at industry events, advocate our brand story, and collaborate closely with the Rooms, Food & Beverage, Marketing, and Events teams to ensure a seamless inquiry-to-stay experience for every guest.
As a Sales Executive, you will oversee the end-to-end sales process: sourcing and developing new business opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and negotiating contracts that reflect Capella's distinct luxury experience. You will nurture relationships with high-end travel agencies, DMCs, corporate travel managers, wedding planners, and MICe organizers, with a focus on both leisure and group business. Your efforts will help expand Capella Ubud's market share in Bali and the broader APAC region.
Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication, and a passion for hospitality excellence. You will partner with Marketing to execute targeted campaigns, with Revenue Management to optimize pricing and availability, and with Operations to ensure flawless guest delivery. The position may include travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and conduct site visits to showcase Capella Ubud's signature experiences. - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets across all market segments for Capella Ubud.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with luxury travel agencies, corporate clients, wedding planners, and MICE organizers.
- Prepare compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and close group and FIT bookings with a focus on guest satisfaction and brand integrity.
- Manage the sales pipeline in CRM, maintain accurate forecasts, and provide regular performance reporting to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations to deliver seamless guest experiences from inquiry to departure.
- Represent Capella Ubud at industry events, trade shows, and familiarization trips; build a robust partner network in Indonesia and APAC.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to optimize availability and drive revenue growth.

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience in luxury hospitality or high-end hotels/resorts.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a professional demeanor.
- Strong network with travel agencies, corporate clients, and event planners in Indonesia and across APAC.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office; ability to manage complex sales cycles.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and travel as required for client meetings and events.
- Fluency in English; Indonesian language skills are advantageous.
