We are seeking a proactive Sales Executive to join our expanding team in Surabaya and East Java. As a Sales Executive at PTJM, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market share for Plaswood WPC decking and other related products. You will manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and closing—while delivering outstanding service that builds lasting relationships. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely quotations, accurate technical information, and reliable order fulfillment. This is a field- and office-based role with regional travel, targeted toward achieving ambitious quarterly and annual sales goals in a competitive market.

Responsibility

  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline for WPC Plaswood decking and related products in Surabaya and East Java.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new B2B leads from contractors, distributors, and retailers.
  • Present technical features, benefits, and pricing; prepare accurate quotations and proposals; negotiate terms to close deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients; provide exceptional post-sale support to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, product, and customer service) to ensure on-time delivery and accurate order execution.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and materials.
  • Represent PTJM at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to expand brand awareness and generate opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate activity records in CRM, forecast revenue, and achieve or exceed quarterly targets.

Qualification

  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven sales experience in B2B, preferably in building materials, construction, or WPC products.
  • Strong technical knowledge of decking, composite materials, and related specifications; ability to translate features into customer value.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills in Indonesian; proficiency in English is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets with a track record of closing deals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office; able to analyze data and prepare compelling proposals.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, with strong time-management and travel readiness; able to work independently and as part of a team.
