Join PERSOL as a dynamic Sales Executive – Engineering in Singapore's East Region. In this role, you will combine business acumen with deep technical insight to deliver compelling engineering solutions to manufacturers, OEMs, and project teams. You will own the full sales cycle from lead qualification to contract negotiation, collaborating with engineering and technical teams to ensure customers receive measurable value and reliable outcomes.
As a key member of our sales organization, you will target industrial equipment, machinery, automation systems, and engineering services, translating complex technical concepts into clear business benefits. You will manage relationships with procurement, project managers, and senior engineers, and you will thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment where customer success is the top priority. You will be supported by a structured onboarding program, ongoing product training, and a robust pipeline management framework.
What you will do is build a robust sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, conduct product demonstrations, respond to RFPs, and negotiate contracts that meet customer needs while protecting margin. You will collaborate with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to ensure successful deployment and customer satisfaction. This role offers significant growth potential within PERSOL's extensive client network and the broader engineering market in Singapore.
Responsibility
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the East Region for engineering products and solutions.
- Develop and present compelling technical value propositions to customers, aligning product capabilities with their engineering needs.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles from lead qualification to closing, including demonstrations, RFP responses, and negotiations.
- Build and nurture relationships with engineers, procurement teams, and project managers to secure repeat business.
- Coordinate with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to ensure successful solution deployment and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and update the sales pipeline in the CRM, forecast accurately, and meet or exceed quarterly targets.
- Travel to client sites as required to advance opportunities and deliver on-site demonstrations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Proven B2B sales track record in engineering, industrial equipment, or related sectors within Singapore.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into business value.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office; strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
