This role blends strategic field sales with hands-on relationship management to expand our distributor network and boost in-store presence of Garudafood brands.
As the Sales Executive for Jambi, you will be a front-line ambassador of our products, delivering exceptional service to retailers, distributors, and channel partners. You will plan and execute sales initiatives, collect market intelligence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time and place. The ideal candidate is results-driven, fluent in local market dynamics, and passionate about FMCG performance.
In addition to meeting sales targets, you will analyze market trends, monitor competitive activity, and implement effective promotions and activations. Responsibility
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets in the Jambi area by promoting Garudafood products to retailers and distributors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, channel partners, and key accounts to maximize product visibility and distribution.
- Collect, analyze, and report market data, customer feedback, and competitor activities to guide pricing and promotional strategy.
- Execute field sales activities, including in-store promotions, product tastings, and POS material installations.
- Monitor inventory and stock levels at distributor and retailer sites to ensure product availability and optimal shelf presence.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to implement effective sales plans and campaigns.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and expense tracking; provide regular updates to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Travel within the Jambi region as required to meet customers, attend meetings, and participate in events.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in FMCG sales or distribution channels.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Solid understanding of the Jambi market and distributor networks.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights; proficiency with MS Excel or similar tools.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
