Reeracoen Recruitment is partnering with a respected Japanese marine engineering firm to recruit a results-driven Sales Executive who will drive growth across the marine market in the West Region. This role offers the opportunity to blend technical understanding with strategic sales to deliver tailored maritime solutions to shipyards, fleet operators, and service providers.
In this role you will represent the client, cultivate relationships with key decision makers, and identify new business opportunities. You will work closely with engineering and project teams to translate customer needs into compelling proposals, manage the end-to-end sales cycle, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities include building a robust pipeline, delivering persuasive presentations, maintaining CRM hygiene, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to align capabilities with client requirements. As part of the sales function, you will work with cross-cultural teams and may engage with Japanese stakeholders, leveraging bilingual or multicultural skills where applicable. Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to win new clients in the marine industry within the West Region.
- Build and maintain relationships with C-level and technical decision-makers across shipyards, fleet operators, and marine service providers.
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to proposal development and contract closure.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare compelling proposals, bids, and quotes; negotiate terms and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor sales metrics, and forecast revenue to management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to generate new business opportunities.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Marine Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in marine, shipping, or related sectors with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; fluent English; knowledge of Japanese is a plus.
- Strong understanding of marine industry customers, market dynamics, and typical procurement cycles.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office; ability to manage complex pipelines.
- Willingness to travel regionally within the West Region and occasionally internationally; self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
