Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya is seeking an energetic Sales Executive to join our Modern Trade team in Indonesia. As a Sales Executive for Modern Trade, you will manage relationships with large format retailers, negotiate for optimal space and promotions, and coordinate cross functional activities with Trade Marketing and Supply Chain to ensure product availability and on time execution. You will analyze performance metrics, forecast demand, and continuously identify opportunities to improve coverage and profitability. A strong team player with excellent communication skills will thrive in our dynamic field team.
What you will do includes implementing promotional plans, monitoring competitor activity, and ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations. You will also be responsible for accurate order processing, timely deliveries, and maintaining comprehensive account records. This role requires regular travel across the territory and a valid driving license.

Responsibility
- Manage and develop Modern Trade accounts across assigned territory, achieving quarterly and annual sales targets
- Build strong relationships with key store managers, buyers, and distributors to maximize shelf presence and product availability
- Plan and execute in store merchandising, shelf layouts, pricing, and promotional activities
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate forecasting, and process accurate orders for timely delivery
- Analyze sales data and market feedback to identify growth opportunities and optimize route plans
- Collaborate with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to design and implement promotions and new SKU launches
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and safety standards; maintain accurate records and reports
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related discipline
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales within modern trade or consumer goods
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Active driving license SIM C and willingness to travel across the territory
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and generate actionable insights
- Self motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
