You will collaborate with our service, parts, and finance teams to ensure seamless delivery, installation, training, and after-sales support. Responsibility
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan in Batam and nearby regions to meet quarterly targets for John Deere tractors and agricultural equipment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, cooperatives, agribusinesses, and local dealers to identify opportunities and close deals.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and operator trainings; prepare accurate proposals, quotes, and sales orders.
- Collaborate with service, parts, and finance teams to ensure seamless delivery, installation, and post-sale support.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform pricing, promotions, and product positioning.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, manage sales pipeline, and provide reliable forecasting to management.
- Represent the company at trade shows, field days, and customer events to generate leads and strengthen brand presence.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field, or equivalent sales experience in B2B environments.
- Proven track record in agricultural equipment or heavy machinery sales; ability to sell complex solutions to farmers and agribusinesses.
- Strong knowledge of tractors, implements, and farming operations; excellent product demonstration and communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal abilities; fluent in Indonesian; English proficiency is a plus.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a field-based, target-driven role with travel within the region.
- Solid CRM and data-analysis skills; proficient with Microsoft Office and sales tools.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to customer sites and events as required.
