Obor Indonesia is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead growth in Central Java. Based in Semarang Tengah, you will partner with iconic brands from Japan and Europe, expanding the distributor network and delivering tailored solutions to customers. Responsibility
- Develop and execute the Central Java sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Manage and grow key accounts; build relationships with distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team; set KPIs and monitor performance.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with Japanese and European brands; negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to design and implement demand-generation campaigns and product solutions.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets; monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events; deliver compelling presentations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets (B2B or consumer goods preferred).
- Mandarin language proficiency required; strong communication skills in English are a plus.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and CRM data; data-driven decision maker.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills across levels of client organizations.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment; willingness to travel as needed (up to 50%).
- Bachelor’s degree; additional certifications in sales or market development are a plus.
