PT NOVA TRADING INDONESIA is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our consumer electronics sales in Jakarta. You will develop and execute sales strategies, build strong relationships with retailers and distributors, and drive revenue growth in a dynamic, competitive market. The ideal candidate combines a strategic mindset with hands-on leadership to translate market insights into actionable plans, while maintaining a relentless focus on customer satisfaction and value creation for partners and end users.
As the Sales Manager, you will oversee a growing sales team, monitor key performance indicators, and collaborate with marketing, product, and supply chain to optimize go-to-market plans. This role requires a proactive leader who can navigate complex negotiations, manage multi-channel accounts, and deliver consistent, measurable results. You will own the channel strategy, forecast accurately, and align promotions with product launches to maximize gross margin and share-of-wallet.
In addition, you will set annual revenue targets, identify new market opportunities, and expand partner networks across Jakarta and surrounding regions. You will mentor the team, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to present clearly in English and Indonesian are essential. Responsibility
- Develop and execute annual sales plans and revenue targets for consumer electronics products across Indonesia, with a focus on Jakarta markets.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve quarterly and annual quotas.
- Build and manage a robust channel partner network including retailers, distributors, and e-commerce partners.
- Identify new market opportunities, conduct market research, and implement effective go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations to optimize pricing, promotions, product launches, and inventory planning.
- Negotiate and close strategic deals with key accounts; manage contract terms and long-term relationships.
- Monitor performance metrics, prepare sales dashboards, and provide regular reporting to senior management.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience and post-sales support to drive loyalty and repeat business.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in consumer electronics or consumer goods, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proven leadership experience overseeing a sales team.
- Strong network within the Indonesian retail, distributor, and/or e-commerce sectors.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in English and Indonesian.
- Ability to analyze data, forecast accurately, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Fluent in English and Indonesian with excellent written and spoken communication.
