CV Anugrah Ciptakan Eka Harapan, a premium snack company based in Yogyakarta, is actively seeking a motivated Sales Modern Trade professional to join our expanding sales team. This role is ideal for a proactive salesperson who thrives in fast-paced retail environments and has a passion for building lasting partnerships with modern trade accounts.
In this position, you will lead efforts to grow our market share across hypermarkets, supermarkets, and regional chain stores in Yogyakarta and neighboring areas. You will design and execute data-driven sales plans, prospect new accounts, and manage ongoing relationships with buyers and store managers. Your work will focus on optimizing shelf presence, implementing promotional activities, and ensuring consistent product availability to maximize in-store performance.
You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to align pricing, promos, and product assortments with company goals. Daily activities include field visits, sales calls, trade negotiations, and training for merchandising teams to guarantee superior execution at the point of sale.

Responsibility
- Develop and execute Modern Trade sales strategies to grow market share in Yogyakarta and surrounding regions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key modern trade accounts (hypermarkets, supermarkets, regional chains) to secure optimal shelf placement and promotions.
- Plan and manage calls, territory coverage, and merchandising to ensure robust product availability and in-store visibility.
- Negotiate trade terms, pricing, and promotional agreements with buyers, coordinating with marketing for promotions.
- Monitor performance metrics, forecast demand, and adjust territory plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to align promotions, pricing, and product assortment with company goals.
- Analyze market data, collect competitive intelligence, and provide feedback to senior management.
- Train and support merchandisers or junior sales staff as needed.
Qualification
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in Modern Trade or FMCG.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of modern trade channels, POS, and in-store merchandising.
- Proficiency in data analysis, Excel, and CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel within Yogyakarta region; ability to manage a field-based schedule.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
