In this critical role, you will bridge sales, production, supply chain, procurement, QA, R&D and logistics to ensure on-time delivery and optimal product availability. You will translate customer requirements into accurate demand forecasts and a practical production plan, while maintaining data integrity across ERP and CRM systems. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to influence service levels, reduce lead times, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and business performance. You will also participate in monthly demand review meetings, support budgeting and capacity planning, and drive initiatives that optimize inventory and service levels.
Key responsibilities include partnering with cross-functional teams to develop and execute demand plans, communicating important feedback from customers to internal teams, and ensuring alignment between sales commitments and production capacity. You will monitor stock, forecast accuracy, and order pipelines, generating actionable insights and regular reports for management. A proactive communicator, you will manage exceptions, escalate risks, and support procurement with material availability and BOM accuracy. You will also participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives to optimize inventory control, improve supplier performance, and strengthen the overall supply chain.

Responsibility
- Coordinate with sales admin, production, supply chain, procurement, QA, R&D and logistics to translate customer orders into feasible production plans and timely shipments.
- Manage and maintain the master production schedule aligned with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
- Monitor order intake, forecast accuracy, stock levels, and service levels; identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards on demand planning, inventory, and delivery performance for management review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, reduce lead times, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Communicate customer feedback to relevant departments and track actions to closure, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Support procurement with material availability, supplier lead times, and BOM accuracy; escalate supply risks when needed.
- Ensure data integrity in ERP and CRM systems and drive ongoing improvements to planning processes.
Qualification
- Degree in business, supply chain, logistics, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years in sales planning, demand planning, or production planning in manufacturing or consumer goods.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel; experience with ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and demand planning tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions; fluent in English; Malay is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, data-driven mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of logistics, procurement processes, and QA/R&D collaboration is advantageous.
